Confirmation Class Information
Confirmation is an opportunity for our 10th graders to spend time learning with Rabbi Zeller, about once a month, on a higher level to discuss ideas and thoughts around values, morality, and religion and to affirm their Jewish identity.
It is rooted in the historical Reform Jewish approach to Confirmation, steeped in learning each of the 10 Commandments and full of robust debate and discussion.
It is not required, but a unique and wonderful opportunity to have your teen learn at a higher level and affirm their faith at the end of the year in a special ceremony we hold together during our Shavuot celebration.
We usually meet on Tuesday nights during TNL (on nights when students aren’t planning programs or there is no BIG program going on).
