We are looking forward to joining with your children for a meaningful and engaging service during the High Holy Days. The Youth Committee would like to inform you of the policies that have been implemented for Junior Congregation Services for the High Holy Days Services.
Junior Congregation Services are for 3rd, 4th 5th 6th graders ONLY. (7th Grade and older remain in the Sanctuary for the Worship Service.) The first 150 children who register according to the instructions below will be accommodated in our Junior Congregation Services (JCS). Registration will processed on a first come, first served basis.
Your cooperation with the following policies will help ensure that this program runs smoothly for parents and participating children.
In order to participate in these services:
Junior Congregation Services will begin at 10:30 am. (Please arrive promptly and drop your children off quietly at the Religious School wing so our Service is not disrupted.)
Junior Congregation Services will end at approximately the same time as the main service. There will be signs throughout the building, as well as ushers and other volunteers ready to help.
A parent must remain in the building during Services. Please pick up your child directly after services the same way you dropped them off. Children may not be picked up during the service nor will parents or siblings be permitted in the School wing, as it is disruptive to the service. For safety and security, parents must pick up their own children.
Your cooperation with the guidelines above will ensure that this program runs smoothly for parents and participating children alike. We thank you for your cooperation in assisting us in providing a meaningful and spiritual service for your children.
Questions about these policies should be addressed to Rabbi Bennet at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your cooperation will ensure successful Junior Congregation Services!
