We hope you and your families are doing well in these uncertain times, where everything is rapidly changing. Reform Judaism is all about how we navigate our religious and spiritual selves through times of change and through the modern world we live in. As such, our community is working to serve you in a DIFFERENT capacity than we’ve previously done. We are so excited to be offering you VIRTUAL ways to connect with clergy, with one another, and to help you expand your knowledge and connection to Judaism.
Our building is still closed, and so this Friday night and the following Friday night, we will be offering our Shabbat worship on Zoom, rather than live streaming it from our sanctuary. Zoom allows us to have added moments for interaction and sharing (as we typically do), that way you can see who else from our community is worshiping with you
The clergy is hosting a daily Coffee Talk meeting Monday through Friday at 10:30 am. where anyone can join to schmooze and check in with one another. We promise it will not always be talking about COVID-19!
We also have a number of other events that are being scheduled, to help keep you connected and tuned in to our thriving community.
We will be offering:
Religious School activities virtually, including song sessions with Miss Stacy, our song leader.
Virtual Tuesday Night live (VTNL) for our teens to stay connected with each other every Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
Parshat Ha’Shavua – Saturdays at 10:30 am beginning March 28- Spend Saturday Morning Reflecting on the Weekly Parsha Portion
PJ’s and Prayer Storytime – Saturday, March 21 at 9:30 am
Pesach Learning – Mondays, March 23rd & 30th, April 6th at 8:00 pm
Meditation offered virtually by Donna Bloom – 1st session on Friday, March 20 at 11 am
Watch this space for more information on a Virtual Women’s Seder and other programs. Most events will take place on Zoom –if you’ve never used Zoom, see some basic instructions below.
We may not be physically together, but we certainly have the ability to continue connecting, learning, growing, and offering support to each other.
Please check our website and your email for details on how to log on to all these upcoming events
We look forward to seeing you online!
