Temple Chaverim’s building is currently closed. Our community will continue to gather and worship remotely. Stay tuned below for the latest updates.
Temple Chaverim’s doors may be closed but we are still very much open! Our number one goal, as a congregation, is to ensure the connection of community and Judaism in everyone’s lives on a day-to-day basis, regardless of our ability to gather in person. While it can be isolating to have to stay at home, day after day, we have been and will continue to offer programs and gatherings that VIRTUALLY connect our entire congregation. Here is what we have offered so far:
We also have a number of other events that are being scheduled, to help keep you connected and tuned in to our thriving community:
Friday night Worship services
Saturday morning PJs and Prayer story time
Weekly Text Study
Passover prep classes
Women’s Seder snippets
2nd night Seder for the community
Yom HaShoah observance
Continued Shalom Learning classes
Virtual classes for ALL students
B’nai Mitzvah tutoring lessons and meetings
Sing-a-long with the Cantor
Daily Coffee Talk
Tuesday Night Live for teens
Guest lectures and programs
We have also created a network of volunteers who are checking in on every member of our congregation to see how everyone is doing and to connect with one another. And, as always, if you would like to speak to a member of the clergy, for spiritual guidance or support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are always here for you.
We will continue to offer many virtual programs and services as we move forward into Spring. Please be sure to check our website and the daily emails for regular updates to our program offerings. We will let you know as soon as we are able to reopen the building and what guidelines will be in place to ensure the health of everyone.
