Kippot and Tallitot | Adult Choir |
| The wearing of a kippah and/or tallis is optional at Temple Chaverim. There are both Kippot and Talliltot available in the lobby of the Synagogue. This is a matter of personal choice. (Note: In general, tallis is only worn for a daytime service and for Yom Kippur evening.) | The Temple Chaverim Choir has been in existence for a number of years. Its members are volunteers from the congregation whose qualifications include a love of music and the chutzpah to sing in public. The Choir rehearses at the Temple every-other Tuesday during the year, and every Tuesday during the final eight weeks prior to the High Holy Days. In addition, the group prepares for special concerts and events, which enhance our musical appreciation as a congregation. New singers are always welcome to join the group. Rehearsals are always a fun, relaxing way to spend an evening. Contact Cantor Hyman for more details. |
